1. Increase Membership Engagement
- Leverage digital and social medial platforms to increase member engagement
- Increase membership by having each member invite at least one person to the meeting per quarter
- Sponsor/participate in a BIG recruitment event at one of the local Universities or Colleges
- Actively recruit more professional and diverse talent (i.e legal, cyber security, business administration, non-profit, grant writers, etc)
2. Improve EEO policy knowledge and understanding
- Appoint a local EEO representative
- Share EEO guidelines and/or process with SAC members
- Connect chapter member with National EEO Chairperson for financial assistance
3. Encourage Professional Growth
- Present professional development calendar of events NLT Feb 2022 meeting
- Conduct at least 1 professional development event each quarter
- Collaborate with external human resources elements to develop strategies for job qualifications
- Sponsor a Webinar or presentation on interview strategies and/or techniques
- Coordinate with presentation or conversation with a Hiring Official on Do’s and Don’t
4. Promote Digital Transformation
- Help reduce in classrooms training by 30% while increasing alternative e-learning
- Increase the number of virtual events and webinars conducted/ sponsored by SAC BIG
5. Promote STEM – Find new innovative ways to promote STEM in local schools
- Promote Regional/National STEM competition by attending local events and engaging youth
- Reach out to past STEM participants to reengage and encourage membership in BIG
- Partner with a local school to conduct mini STEM event/competition
6. Build Strong SAC BIG Leaders
- Promote BIG as a Leadership Training Ground
- Nominate 4 new members to NDA in 2024
- Require Officers to attend the BIG Officers Training sessions
- Empower all chairpersons to actively lead their committees and provide actionable plans
- Engage officers/chairpersons in reporting requirements to prepare/submit timely reports
- Ensure financial decisions meet legal and ethical requirements
